TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.PlatformsYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level. The FSRA QuestionHere is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities. The BonusTab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding. The full review, covering all the details before you more info open an account, more info is at TradeTheDay.
